What does ProDigi offer?
Prodigi is a budget-friendly (not the same as "cheap") studio, location, wedding and sports photographer based in Mandurah, near Perth, in Western Australia. Prodigi travels, and is available for your destination wedding or photographic assignment anywhere in the world.
His favourite subject matter includes people photography, wildlife, travel, corporate photography, social commentary and assignment photojournalism. Prodigi is a stills photographer and does not provide video services.
What does "budget-friendly" mean?
It means we don't all drive vintage Mercedes Benzes and have bags of cash laying around. Prodigi will attempt to give you the most sensible possible quote for your photography work, whether it be a product shoot, a wedding, a special event or a travel assignment. Photography services are never cheap, but they don't need to be a rip-off either. For all assignments we'll have a thorough conversation about your needs and expectations before you decide - this is especially important with weddings, whether they be local or destination weddings.
What does "People Photography" include?
People, of course! All shapes and sizes, portraiture, boudoir, families, corporate portraits, activities (including sports), cultural events, community gatherings - you name it. He does much wildlife, conservation, social documentary and newsy photojournalism, and is a passionate traveller - but his main photographic interest is people.
What sort of Photojournalism does Prodigi offer?
Prodigi has shot a wide variety of photojournalism stories over the years. Some have been published in international news media, National Geographic magazine, travel magazines, corporate annual reports and a host of others. He shoots all sorts, from conflicts and environmental crises to protests, riots, environmental and social issues and occasionally politicians and diplomats.
He is always open for interesting assignments.
What other photographic products can Prodigi offer?
Social media images - you pick the kind of image you want to portray and Prodigi will make it work for you. Whether it be for Facebook, Tinder or Grindr... Yes, Prodigi is a broadminded fellow.
Prodigi has also shot numerous CD covers, promotional material for events internationally, corporate annual reports, websites and plenty more. Please note that videography is not his strong point, and that he consequently only provides professional stills photography.
Who is Prodigi?
Prodigi is passionate, generalist photographer and occasional freelance photojournalist who undertakes shoots all over the world when an opportunity arises. He has a studio in Mandurah, Western Australia, and shares his time between photography work and his "other life" as a clinical neuropsychotherapist. In a "former life" he was a reform politician in South Africa, Chief of Staff in the Presidency and the Ministry of Defence, Global General Manager for Marketing and Communication of the BoE, and a senior member of the Public Affairs and Policy team of the largest pharmaceuticals company in the world. Having beaten a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2022 he shares his love of life with his patients - and with the people he photographs!
